#math trivia for #June26: #178 is the sum of two squares. What are they?

The two squares are 169 and 9. (This was an easy one … We know that one of the squares must be 100 or more — both squares can’t be 81 or less or they wouldn’t add to 178 — so it’s sufficient just to test the squares that are 100 or more, i.e. also including 121, 144 and 169, and see which one works.)
