It’s been about six weeks since I started posing questions in my daily math trivia tweets rather than just sharing observations about the number of the day, so it seemed like a good time to start giving answers.
My math trivia tweets started originated in an exchange on Friday, January 13, with a friendly security guard at my company. He mentioned the date, and having no superstition about it, I responded, “it’s a prime.” The guard answered, “Indeed it is!” I continued the next week with comments about the next days’ numbers, and soon I was tweeting about them as well.
My first math trivia tweet in the form of a question was on February 11; I’ll answer that one next.
